I DON'T BELONG TO, OR HAVE CONTACTS AT A CLUB. CAN I STILL COME ALONG?
Absolutely. Please come along and join in and we can hook you and your friends up with a local club and one of the teams so you can continue your cricket experience.
WHAT DO I WEAR?At club training you can wear whatever feels comfortable but at matches you will need to wear an official club short and cap as a minimum.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANY EQUIPMENT?If you have your own cricket gear - great - you can use that. If you don't that is not an issue we have two club kits for you to use. We provide everything - bats, balls, stumps, pads, gloves, helmets. The only thing you must provide your own of is a personal protector (if you wish to wear one and we have some of those available to give you) and we suggest purchasing a pair of batting inners.HOW MUCH DOES THIS ALL COST?Clubs may charge a small subscription to cover the cost of basic club uniforms for the comeptitions, but we are all working collectively to minimise the cost to play.
WILL I BE PLAYING AGAINST EXPERIENCED CRICKETERS?This competition has specific rules to make sure that this remains a social game that is accessible to all. The games will have a little competition but we want you to meet new people and enjoy your time learning new skills.WHO IS ALLOWED TO PLAY?Any female over the age of 14 is eligible to play. We are looking for you to reach out and help us build our team. If you are female and would like to join or your mother, your sister, your wife, your aunty, your grandmother, your friend, your colleague anyone at all - everyone is welcome. If you think you can help us, we want to hear from you. Let's give something back to the community that we can be proud of.
