Penny Callaghan was the star with bat and ball for Carnegie

Division 1 action on the weekend saw Richmond City host Carnegie in an early 11am game. Batting first, City were able to post an improved total of 7/111. Penny Callaghan was star with the ball fro Carnegie snaring 2/21 from her 4 overs. In reply, Carnegie chased down the total for the loss of 5 wickets with Susie Condron 31* and Callaghan 20* the key contributors to cap off a great game.

 

Omega and Parkdale's match has been rescheduled to a double header on January 20th due to Youth Premier League commitments.

 

In Division 2, Aspendale had a big win 7/109(cc) over Bentleigh 8/30. For Aspendale it was Nicky Ncube (25*) & Elli Maltman (2/2) who were the pick of the performances, whilst Bentleigh's Kim Hazendonk (2/7) performed well. East Malvern Tooronga 0/66 defeated the emerging Cluden side 8/65 with Charlotte Richards 19* & 2/12 the star.
